Places To Visit In Apollo Bay

Visiting Apollo Bay

There is an untold number of places to visit in Apollo Bay — it’s where stories unfold.

If it’s nature you’re after, you can choose from six spectacular waterfalls to visit. Or you can go to one of the best locations for koala spotting (in Cape Otway just off the Great Ocean Road west of Apollo Bay). Places to visit of course include the coastline (and you can even go to some places via kayak!)

As well as nature, Apollo Bay offers also historical riches too — such as the Cape Otway Lightstation. It’s the oldest surviving lighthouse in mainland Australia, and the centrepiece of a precinct rich in wildlife, maritime history and unbeatable ocean views.

Discover What to See

The township and its region boast restaurants and cafes, and provides fertile ground for cultural places to visit in Apollo Bay — tap into local talent at galleries, theatres and markets which take place year-round, showcasing a miscellany of art, craft and local produce.

Stock up on fresher-than-fresh goodies, locally grown in fertile Otway soil.
